Master Class Project – Design for Serious Game Platform

The system that we develop is a platform for creating serious games. The users of the serious game platform are 1) the administrator, as globally; 2) the expert e.g. child psychologist; 3) the educator e.g. teacher, parent; 4) the player. The target group (players) in which the system refers to, are children. Specifications for the player’s category are dynamically set by the expert e.g. preschoolers, post-schoolers, preschoolers with autism, post-schoolers with autism. The main goal of the system is to give the chance to the educator to create a personalized game for the player which will aim to educate the player in a chosen field. To enter the system user authentication is required. Each user of the system will have an individual profile and a different role, impact in the process to the final goal. Nevertheless, there is going to be a guest category where a player can take advantage of the preset games that have been released from the expert and/or the educator with the attribute of “open access” in the publicity option but without creating a profile to track performance e.tc.
